[1] This was a divorce petition filed by the Petitioner Wife (PW) against the Respondent Husband (RH) for the following orders : (a) The marriage between the PW and RH be dissolved and for decree nisi to be made absolute in 3 months; (b) Monthly maintenance of RM2000 to be paid to the PW; (c) The RH to return all the jewelleries belonging to the PW or in the alternative the RH to pay to the PW RM200,000 being the value of the jewelleries; (d) RH to hold his ½ share of the matrimonial property known as No. 22, Jalan USJ 9/3H, Subang Jaya, Petaling Jaya, Selangor as trustee on behalf of the child of the marriage and to be transferred to the Child upon the demise of the RH. [2] The RH filed a Reply dated 27.6.2024 through his solicitors agreeing to the dissolution of the marriage but contested all the rest of the reliefs sought by the PW.
