This is an appeal by the appellant against the decision of the Sessions Court at Petaling Jaya in convicting her for an offence under section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 punishable under section 39A(2) of the said Act for possession of 46.55 grams of cocaine. The learned Sessions Court judge (“SCJ”) sentenced the appellant to seven years imprisonment. After hearing the parties I dismissed the appeal and maintained the decision of the SCJ. The appellant now appeals further to the Court of Appeal.
