The appellant was preferred with the following charge : Pertuduhan Pindaan (P7) “ Bahawa kamu pada 9.3.2019 jam lebih kurang 3.15 petang, di Blok H-3-14 Puchong Utama Court, Jalan Puchong Utama, Puchong dalam Daerah Petaling, dalam Negeri Selangor Darul Ehsan telah didapati dengan sengaja menyebabkan cedera terhadap mangsa Logaraja a/l Soogurinago No. KP : 950527-14-7615 dengan menetak mangsa dengan menggunakan sebilah pisau sebagai senjata. Oleh yang demikian, kamu telah melakukan satu kesalahan di bawah seksyen 324 Kanun Keseksaan.” The appellant had claimed trial and at the end of the defence case he was found guilty and sentenced to five years imprisonment. A stay of execution of the sentence was given until the appeal was disposed in the High Court.
