At the end of the defence case I found the accused guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment and whipping of twelve 12 strokes for the first charge and two years imprisonment for the second charge. Both the sentences to commence from the date of arrest 13 September 2022 and to be served concurrently. The accused now appeals further to the Court of Appeal against the conviction and sentence meted out by this court.
