Res judicata - it is incumbent upon this court to see whether issues, claims and reliefs in the Suit 2020 are akin to the present suit to determine whether res judicata applies or otherwise Consent judgment - the principles of construction to be applied to a consent judgment are similar to those applied to an ordinary contract - the intentions of the parties are to be gathered from the words used - they are presumed to have intended what they said - the common and universal principle is that a consent judgment ought to receive that construction which its language will admit which will best effectuate the intention of the parties, to be collected from the whole judgment
